We’ve had a busy summer and are happy to release some updates to make your Sleip experience even better. And, as always, with no hardware to update, all our users can access the latest improvements instantly.
Interested in how rider presence affects movement patterns? Sleip not only detects a rider but now also tags the analysis result with an easily recognisable icon - look out for the riding helmet! Read more about the rider's influence on horse movement in one of our latest blogs by Dr. Emma Persson-Sjödin, a renowned equine veterinarian and researcher.
Searching is now a breeze. Whether it's a horse or client you're looking for, just type the name in the search bar, and you'll find it.
Quality recordings lead to quality analysis results. To guide you and your clients to the optimal recording, we’ve expanded the troubleshooting information in the app when there is a potential issue impacting quality. Our warning messages now not only alert you to a problem, they also explain why it’s occurring and how to fix it.
A lighter, more streamlined design in the Summary tab gives you an improved overview of your analysis and the quality of the data captured. Remember, around 20 strides are needed for a reliable measurement and the less variation between strides, the more certain the analysis.
After completing a straight line or longeing recording, it needs to be uploaded for analysis by Sleip’s AI-powered software. With a new progress bar and upload speed display, we’ve made the process more transparent so you know exactly what's happening.
Great news for users with a slower internet connection! We understand that accessing analysis results has been a tad slow for some, so we’re very pleased to let you know that we’ve been able to speed that process up for you.
Got ideas or feedback? We're all ears. Shoot us an email at hello@sleip.com. We'd love to hear from you.

We are pleased to release a new basic biomechanical measurement! Sleip now includes data on the horse’s stride frequency in the analysis summary, measured in strides per second.
Sleip’s Biomechanical Researcher, Christoffer Roepstorff, talks us through what Sleip measures and how the switch to confidence intervals will help users gauge the reliability of their analysis results.
