How it works
Record video
Record a horse trotting straight toward and away from the camera, or on a left and right longeing circle, to analyse gait. Once the recording is complete, you can view both the original video and an analysis video with real-time measurements.
Mobile app screen showing a brown horse standing outside near a barn with upload progress and video recording options.
Upload
Upload your recording to get analysis results directly on your phone. Sleip detects gait type and analyses individual strides, stride variation, and more to provide objective data to support your decisions.
Three smartphone screens showing horse gait analysis app with summary of impact asymmetry, video of horse walking, and radial charts for head and pelvis gait analysis.
Get analysis results
Your analysis results include an Analysis summary and additional views such as the real-time Analysis video, Combined longing, Compare recordings, Trends and Asymmetry vectors.
Mobile screen showing a list of horse gait analyses with thumbnails, timestamps, descriptions, status bars, and checkboxes for selection.
Share analysis results
Analysis results can easily be shared with anyone via a web link or as a PDF summary.
Mobile screen displaying a Trend chart for horse Eminent with 1 month selected, showing dashed lines and dots in purple and blue representing head and pelvis movement trends left and right, dated December 2024.
Track progress over time
With Trends you can follow a horse’s development over time and identify recordings or analyses that stand out from the average gait pattern.
Mobile app screen showing 'Invite others to share recordings with you' message for adding horse owners or caretakers to record horses with limited app access and send recordings including video and gait data.
Monitor horses remotely
You can invite others to record a horse remotely with a limited version of Sleip so that you can monitor the analysis results without the need for a physical visit. Invited users will only get a basic analysis summary which can’t be used for diagnosis and treatment.
