Record from
anywhere

Recordings can be done by grooms, riders, or owners using an iPhone — no sensors or extra equipment needed. Sleip delivers structured gait data, making it easy to track changes over time.

Refer with shared visuals

Whether you’re referring a case or seeking a second opinion, Sleip’s videos and gait data provide a shared, objective view of the horse’s movement — supporting clearer communication and decisions.

Stay connected across distances

Remote recordings let you monitor horses beyond your usual geography, follow up on those in competition or rehab, and maintain continuity of care across distances — without adding to your travel load.

Monitor horses remotely
You can invite others to record a horse remotely with a limited version of Sleip so that you can monitor the analysis results without the need for a physical visit. Invited users will only get a basic analysis summary which can’t be used for diagnosis and treatment.

Casse Racing

investigate
The team uses a simple rule: if asymmetry measures over 1 on Sleip’s scale, they investigate further. The app helps guide when to escalate to imaging, treatment, or withdrawal from competition.

“We probably do about eight or ten analyses a day in our different locations, and Sleip has helped us be better. It also allows us to keep tabs on horses remotely. So if there's a problem today in South Florida, we’ll just ask the guys there to do a Sleip recording and we can look at the data here. It helps us make better calls for the horses. It gives us hard data, and confirmation. And it’s easy to use. Maybe a year or so ago, I had a very good horse who won a race—but something didn’t feel right. We did a Sleip recording and it came back with a severe asymmetry. We x-rayed him and found the start of a condylar fracture. We were able to catch it early.”
