Subscription

How do I get a Sleip account?

You can either book a personal online meeting for a live demo, or get started straight away by watching a short product introduction video and signing up for a free trial. Click here to choose the option that suits you best. Your first two weeks are free, and your subscription starts automatically after that.

Can I change the subscription later if we need more or fewer users/devices?

Yes, you can adjust your subscription at any time. Just email us at hello@sleip.com with the changes you’d like to make, and we’ll take care of the rest. Any updates to your subscription fee will be reflected on your next invoice.

How do I cancel a subscription?

To cancel your subscription, simply email us at hello@sleip.com. We’ll process the cancellation within 30 days, or before your next payment—whichever comes first.

Technical requirements

What iPhone or iPad do I need to have to use Sleip?

We recommend using an iPhone 13 or newer for the best experience. However, the Sleip app works on all iPhones from iPhone 8 and up, as long as they’re running iOS 16.4 or later.  If you're just getting started, an older device will work fine for testing. The app also works on newer iPad models.

How much mobile data do I need when using Sleip?

Using Sleip involves uploading high-quality video files and viewing streamed analysis results. If you plan to use the app over a mobile connection, we recommend an unlimited data plan for the best experience.

Do I need to be connected to the internet to use Sleip?

An internet connection is required to add new horses, upload recordings, and receive analysis results. However, if you're offline, you can still record videos for existing horses on your account and upload them later when you’re connected.

If you need to record a new horse without internet access, you can temporarily record under a different profile and contact us to move the recording once it's uploaded.

To get  analysis results back in minutes, a stable internet connection with good upload speed (15-20 Mbps) is recommended.

How can I get fast results with Sleip?

To receive analysis results within 5 minutes, we recommend an upload speed of at least 15-20 Mbps. Keep in mind that having full signal bars doesn’t always mean fast upload speeds.

Can I use Sleip on an Android device?

Not yet—Sleip is currently available only on iPhone and iPad. We're focusing on iOS to ensure the best possible performance and accuracy, but we’re exploring options for Android support in the future.

Payment

What payment methods do you offer?

We accept card payments and SEPA direct debit. We’re happy to set up automatic payments for your convenience

Will I receive an invoice or receipt, even for automatic payments?

Yes, you’ll always receive a receipt, even if your payments are processed automatically.

Can I pay annually?

Yes, in fact you will receive a one month discount if you choose to pay annually instead of monthly.

How long is the free trial period?

Sleip offers a 14-day free trial. After that, unless you’ve notified us, your paid subscription will begin automatically. Please note that once the paid subscription starts the cancellation notice period is one month or until your next scheduled payment, whichever comes first.

Do I need to enter billing details before starting the trial?

Yes, we require billing information to set up your account. However, your first payment will only be processed after the free trial has ended.

Accessing your account

I have an account and can't log in.

Double-check that you’ve entered the correct email address and password, with no extra spaces. If you still can’t log in, click “Forgot your password?” to request a new one and follow the instructions in the email. If the issue persists, please contact us at hello@sleip.com.

What should I do if I forget my password?

Click “Forgot your password?” on the login page and enter the email address linked to your Sleip account. You’ll receive a temporary password by email. Use it to log in, then set a new password.

If you don’t receive the email, please check your spam or junk folder.

I have been invited to record with Sleip but haven't received any log in credentials.

If you’ve been invited to record a horse but haven’t received an email from Sleip, check your spam folder first. If you still don’t see it, try resetting your password by entering your email on the login page. Also, confirm with the person who invited you that they used the correct email address.
