The equine PPE: Data, decisions & documentation

Pre-purchase examinations rarely provide simple yes-or-no answers. How should veterinarians approach findings that aren't straightforward, communicate uncertainty to buyers and navigate the legal responsibilities that come with their recommendations?

Join Sleip and Schelstraete Equine Law for a case-based discussion bringing together experts in equine veterinary medicine, diagnostic imaging, objective gait analysis and equine law.

Through a real-world PPE scenario and court cases, our panel will explore how clinical observations, imaging findings and objective gait data can be brought together to support informed decision-making. The discussion will also address how veterinarians can communicate effectively with buyers and sellers, document PPE findings accurately to prevent dispute and understand potential veterinary liability.

Expect an open, practical discussion with different perspectives, real clinical challenges and opportunities to ask questions.
