Pre-purchase examinations rarely provide simple yes-or-no answers. How should veterinarians approach findings that aren't straightforward, communicate uncertainty to buyers and navigate the legal responsibilities that come with their recommendations?

Join Sleip and Schelstraete Equine Law for a case-based discussion bringing together experts in equine veterinary medicine, diagnostic imaging, objective gait analysis and equine law.

Through a real-world PPE scenario, our panel will explore how clinical observations, imaging findings and objective gait data can be brought together to support informed decision-making. The discussion will also address how veterinarians can communicate findings and potential risks to buyers, the importance of clear documentation and the legal considerations that arise when a PPE is later questioned.

Expect an open, practical discussion with different perspectives, real clinical challenges and opportunities to ask questions.
