Remote recording is available with the Sleip Remote add-on, which you can activate as part of your subscription.
To invite someone, open the horse’s profile and tap Remote. Enter the person’s name and email address, and add any recording instructions or message you want to include. Then tap Send invite.
From the Remote view, you can see whether the invitation is pending, active or has been removed.
Start by removing remote access for horses you no longer need to have recorded remotely. Open the horse’s profile, tap Remote, select the user and tap Remove user.
If you still need more capacity, contact us at hello@sleip.com and we’ll help you increase your Sleip Remote limit.
Open the horse’s profile and tap Remote. Select the person you want to remove, then tap Remove user at the bottom of their profile.
No. A remote recorder can access the horse until you remove them. To stop access, open the horse profile, tap Remote, select the person and tap Remove user.
You can invite anyone who will be recording the horse for you and has a compatible iPhone or iPad. You’ll need their name and email address to send the invitation.
First, check that the email address was entered correctly and ask them to check their spam or junk folder. If they still haven’t received the invitation, they can try using Forgot password? in the app with the email address you invited. If that doesn’t work, contact us at hello@sleip.com and we’ll help.
In the horse list, open the Remote view to see horses with active remote recorders. You can also filter for recordings received from remote users.
Open the invitation email and use the login details provided to sign in to the Sleip companion app. Once you’re logged in, the horse you’ve been invited to record will already be available. Before making your first recording, we recommend reviewing the recording instructions in the app.
Sharing a horse gives another Sleip user access to the horse’s existing and future recordings and analysis results. They can also create new recordings and edit the horse profile and recording details.
Open the horse profile and tap the share icon in the top right. Select Share horse, then enter the email address associated with the Sleip account you want to share it with.
You can only share horses that you created yourself.
You can share a horse with another Sleip user using the email address associated with their Sleip account. This makes it easy to collaborate with colleagues or other professionals involved with the horse.
No. The horse remains shared until you remove access.
Open the horse profile, tap the share icon and manage the users who have access to the horse. Remove the user you no longer want to share the horse with.
Once access is removed, they can no longer see the horse’s previous or future recordings and analysis results.
Sharing a horse gives another Sleip user ongoing access to the horse profile, including existing and future recordings and results, and allows them to record and edit.
Sleip Remote is different: it lets you invite someone to make recordings for you using the limited Sleip companion app. The full analysis results are returned to the inviting account.
