Inviting others to record

I’ve reached the maximum number of horses I can share access to record for. What can I do?

You can start by deactivating access for horses you no longer need to have remotely recorded. If that’s not possible, just contact us at hello@sleip.com and we’ll help you increase your sharing limit.

How do I deactivate sharing for a horse?

Click the “two people” sharing button under the horse’s name to view all recorder users the horse has been shared with. Under each user, you’ll see a button to deactivate sharing.

Is there a time limit for sharing a horse?

No, you decide how long a horse remains shared. Access to record that horse stays active until you manually deactivate it.

Who can I invite to record a horse remotely?

Anyone who will be recording a horse for you and has access to an iPhone 8 or later, or a newer iPad. You’ll need their name and email address to send the invite.

I invited a client to record a horse, but they haven’t received the invite email.

First, double-check that the email address was entered correctly. Ask the client to check their spam or junk folder. They can also try resetting their password using the “Forgot password?” link in the app. If they still can’t log in, contact us at hello@sleip.com and we’ll assist.

How do I find the horses I’ve shared?

At the top of your horse list, tap the “Sharing” button to view all horses currently shared with recorder users. You can also search within this list.

I’ve been invited to record a horse. What do I do now?

Start by logging in with the credentials sent to you by Sleip. If you haven’t received the email, please check your spam or junk folder. Once logged in, the horse will already be added to your account, and you can begin recording. We recommend watching the instructional videos in the app before making your first recording.
