Straight-line and longeing recordings can now be selected directly in the camera view, and users can switch horses without leaving the view — making it easier to work through multiple horses in one session.
Horse management has also been updated, with improved options for sorting, filtering, searching and organising horses, as well as simpler ways to share and collaborate.
For Sleip Pro Vet users, the update also introduces flexion test analysis. Veterinarians can record and document flexion tests, link them to a baseline recording and review how asymmetry changes over the first ten strides after flexion. Diagnostic analgesia can also be documented alongside the recording.
“We wanted this update to make Sleip feel simpler in everyday use, without losing the depth of information users rely on. A lot of the work has gone into reducing steps — whether you’re moving between horses, recording, reviewing results or documenting an assessment”, says Filipe Bragança, Biomechanical Researcher & Product Manager at Sleip.
The update is rolling out gradually between 16 and 23 October. If automatic app updates are enabled on your iPhone, Sleip will update automatically. Otherwise, you can update the app manually from the App Store.
For the best experience, we recommend using iOS 26 or later and iPhone 11 or later.
The update is available for Sleip Pro Vet and Sleip Pro, with some clinical features, including flexion test analysis and diagnostic analgesia annotation, available only in Sleip Pro Vet.
